My Favourite Youtubers

Hey Internet Friends,

Firstly, if your thinking eurghhh HollyPop this isnt the kind of content we come here for!
Well as much as I know that, I also like to think you come here for me and the youtubers that I love are a big part of who I’ve grown to be yano. I worked really hard on this post so I hope you enjoy it, if you prefer the more beauty related posts, I’ll see you on next week  for a valentines day inspired make up look!

When I say I watch youtube, I don’t just mean the Vloggers and the ‘Youtubers’, Im in there for the weird stuff, the viral stuff, the cat videos, the trolls and everything in between. I like the internet at its wackiest and I love falling down youtube black holes.
For the purpose of this post Im gonna stick to the ‘Youtubers’, the people I watch everyday and see more than my friends and family.
So lets kick this off where it all began shall we?

Jenna Marbles
The first channel I ever subscribed to on youtube, the first time I felt like someone I’d never met was one of my best friends, the first person that made me laugh so hard I thought I’d pee and the first person that made me so emotional for someone I’ve never met.
Beautifully intelligent, talented and one of the most unique people I’ve ever come across.
I find myself using her funny little words and expressions in my everyday majestic life and she just warms my heart.

Jenna is originally from Upstate New York, Rochester and has lived in Boston where she completed her Masters degree in psychology before moving to LA where she now lives with her three gorgeous dogs and boyfriend Julien Solomita.
You Tube

Julien Solomita
Most people know him as Jenna Marbles boyfriend but he’s so much more that. He is one of the most artistic Vloggers that I watch managing to strike the perfect balance between beautiful time-lapse, scenery and his daily life.
Its a real talent to keep people that interested in Vlogs for so long and I think Julien does it perfectly.
He genuinely seems like an all around nice person and Im glad he took the decision to share his life with the internet because I really look forward to those vlogs.

Jenna and Julien also have an amazing podcast together that remains free to watch and listen too thanks to the varied and perfect introduced sponsors. I watch this every week and whilst the content doesn’t always appeal to me the way they speak about it makes it always entertaining.

romanatwoodRoman Atwood

You might think you don’t know who Roman Atwood is but I guarantee you’ll have seen one of his prank videos. The guys pretty much an internet legend.
Although I must say Roman’s pranks aren’t the reason he’s one of my favourite youtubers, I absolutely love romans Vlog channel with his friends, family and daily antics.
His vlogs are so unbelievably real, no sugar coating or fakery just real life family vlogs.
He instills a positive message into his viewers and the people he surrounds him with and I think its a message that it doesn’t hurt to live by.

Everyone needs a little more positivity in there life from time to time.
Smile more

Blogger and Youtuber Zoe Sugg has smashed the internet, caused a mixed reaction amongst beauty bloggers and become incredibly successful with two best selling novels and a range of beauty products its hard to ignore her.
Her main channel is a mix of sit down videos and collabs but I really do prefer Zoe’s real life stuff like the Vlogs and the blog posts.
I watch her main channel videos religiously but my heart really lies with the vlogs, because its in those vlogs that you get to see the unpolished zoe who really just loves spending time with her dog and eating pizza.
And thats when I really can relate to Zoe.

I love all of ‘Team Gleams’ channel (like Jim Chapman, Pixi Woo, Tanya Burr, Joe Sugg) and do subscribe and watch them religiously like the other youtubers I’ve mentioned and whilst I’ll always love them and support their endeavours they don’t make it onto my favourite list just yet…

Other youtubers I love are people like Oli White, Gabby (VelvetGh0st) and BFvsGF (P vs P)

Hope you guys enjoyed this little insight into my life,

Who are your favourite youtubers?

Beat the January Blues…

Hey Internet Friends,

Apologise that I missed a post, I haven’t been well but thought I had enough scheduled posts to keep the blog running. Apparently I counted wrong!
January is always a tough all month with a lot of us feeling down in the dumps, me included so as soon as I was feeling up to it I popped into town and picked up some bits and bobs to make me feel better.

I got a collection of things to make me feel a little better to cover all different areas of my personal life. So shall I show you what I picked up?

hairNew year new you? Not so much but new year new hair colour sounds pretty good! I love the Live XXL colours from Schwarzkopf and thought I’d give the cosmic blue colour a shot, Im hoping its going to go like black with a blue shine under the light.
I always use Silvikrin hairspray in level 5 because once Ive done my hair I like it to stay put! A nice big new can is always a mood boost for me.
I also got another tub of the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment I recently reviewed because Im already starting to notice a real difference.

faceI know I have enough Foundation to sink a battle ship but hear me out? Ok?
I love the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation and think its a real diamond product for a great price but I especially love mixing it with my Mac Studio Fix Fluid. I find that mixing the two leads to a perfect skin base with just the right colour and desired finish.
Not to mention it makes the more expensive Mac foundation last so much longer.
The wake me up concealer is my go to concealer I love how well it reduces redness and doesn’t go cakey so I thought seen as I need cheering up a new full one might be a bit lovely.

skinThis is a product I’ve never tried before but it just looked so luxurious that I just couldn’t resist.
No7 says about it
An indulgent treat for your skin.Give yourself an indulgent start to the day with this cleansing shower oil. With a combination of nourishing Argan Oil, hydrating Grapeseed Oil and Almond Oil combined with Vitamin E, this gently foaming oil truly transforms your everyday shower. Forumlated with high oil levels which work to condition the skin and moisturise all day long. The oil’s lather gently cleanses, leaving your body feeling soft, supple and hydrated.Hypo-allergenic: Because all skin can have sensitive moments, all our products are hypo-allergenic using ingredients we know and trust.

Im really excited to try this product as I think it will be a real treat for the skin and will make showers extra special.
Exactly what you need in January.

diaryI honestly cant believe its taken this long for me to get a new diary! Its normally one of the first things I do in January and I look forward to it the most.
I got this cute spotty one from Paperchase and it has a page a day and a shared page on weekends so its perfect for what I need.

I hope you enjoyed this little beat the January blues post.

What do you guys do to beat your January blues?

Lee Stafford: Hair Growth Treatments

Hey Internet Friends,

I struggle with hair growth, its probably one of the things about my appearance that bothers me the most. It just will not grow! So I’m wanting to try out some new products to help me fix my little problem.

titleThe Lee Stafford hair growth products are complimented throughout the beauty blogger community so it only makes sense that they’ll be the first product I try.
I chose two product from the range that I’ve heard the most praise about and although these products do normally have a heavier price tag but at the moment theres a two for £10 offer at boots.
Today I just want to tell you a little bit about the products and I’ll get back to you with the results once I’ve given them a proper try.

Hair Treatment for Hair that never grows past a certain length.

I first heard about this product from the popular youtuber Velvetgh0st, her hair is stunningly long and with the praise she gives it I had to try it.
Lee Stafford claims that “This gorgeous, thick, intensive treatment with PRO-GROWTH™ complex fertilises your follicles whilst going deep down into the cortex to condition and strengthen from within. Its soothing formulation reduces irritation and moisturises the scalp, providing the perfect base for hair to grow and reach its maximum potential length

You can use this treatment as as a quick treat or you can leave it on longer to really get to work, the packaging is stunningly pink and smells absolutely amazing. Super thick and creamy consistency that I imagine is going to fix my hair right up.

You’ve made some big claims Lee Stafford, lets hope you can live up to it.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Leave in Treatment
Im a bit of a sceptic when it comes to leave in treatments if Im being honest, probably because I cant feel the goodness working straight away. But it was in an offer so it made sense to just give it a try right?
Those offers really drag me in.
Lee stafford claims “Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp! This spray will increase micro-circulation to the scalp and help create the best possible environment for hair to grow. The best thing is you don’t wash it out so it is continuously working on stimulating and strengthening from within! A follicle fuel to increase root productivity ‘for HAiR that never GRowS past a CERTAiN LeNGTH’

The idea is that you take the spray and spray it directly onto the wet roots and brush it through to the very end of your hair. I like the idea of this as it seems super easy to use and it wouldnt be a nightmare to add into my routine so I will try it in combination with the treatment mask and fingers cross, its a little miracle worker.

If I can have long hair for my wedding I will be the happiest girl in the world, so if you have any other hair growth tips for me, preferably ones that don’t involve raw eggs or not washing please let me know in the comments!

I shall get back to you with the results.

Have you guys tried any of these products?

Hey Internet Friends,

If you didn’t know Jamie asked me to marry him a year today at the bottom of a fountain on a cute little Island called Cape Verde. The first thing in my journey I’d love to share with you is our Save The Date Announcements.

Now guys, this is top secret ok? Not even my friends and family have seen this yet so I’m trusting you guys!
I designed these Save The Dates using the Adobe Creative Suite and complimented then with gorgeous Kraft Paper envelopes that I’ve made envelope inserts for using different black and white wrapping paper and the finish product is something I am so pleased with.

My Skincare Collection 2016

Hey Internet Friends,

The time has come for a very long post, so grab a nice hot chocolate and get comfy because today I want to share with you my Skincare collection.

I only really started having a massive interest in different skincare products at the beginning of last year and since then Ive built myself a nice little collection, I’d love to be able to take them from the bag they currently live in and display them properly but until then I shall just have to share them with you lovely lot!

Ive broken this post down into a few manageable little chunks so you can see the collection properly.
In my last post I showed you my Liz Earle products so if you want to read more about that you can do so.

Right, lets get cracking!

Burt’s Bees DSC05461
The Burt’s Bees original lip balm I always have in my handbag because its so nourishing and great for dry lips.
The foot cream and companion lip balm is a coconut scent that really is great for chapped and dry skin.
Smells amazing too!

I love Burt’s Bees products because not only are they super hydrating and brilliant little products but its also an incredibly ethical company that cares greatly about encouraging the environment and sustainability.

Soap & GloryDSC05478Heel Genius is a brilliant food cream that makes your feet feel like there wrapped in soft and lovely cotton wool.
The Hand food is super nourishing and hydrating for even the sorest dry hands.
The righteous butter smells amazing and leaves you feeling all silky smooth and wonderful.
The sun kissed tint body lotion and cleansing milk is new to my collection so I’ll have to get back to you with the results!

I absolutely loved all the Soap and Glory shower products so progressing to there skincare range was really natural for me, I love all the scents, the packaging is quirky and cool and the products themselves really are phenomenal in terms of results.
One of my favourite high street brands and for the price tag you really cant go wrong.

The Body Shop
The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands and especially there skincare products.
The tea tree range is great for oily and troubled skin and whilst I don’t use it all the time it is great when break outs occur, within that range I have the foam cleaner and lotion.
The hemp hand cream is a really thick cream that is so nourishing its untrue but is better for nighttime as it takes so long to soak in.
The white musk hand cream is one of my favourite hand creams ever and I love it dearly, its fast drying and fast acting.
The body clay is not my favourite product, Ive used it a handful of times and I honestly don’t understand what all the fuss is about….

Mixed Brands Body SkincareDSC05488The Nivea Creme is a staple in any skincare collection, everybody should and probably does have this amongst there collection.
If my Grandma says its good then you know its true, you can read more about that HERE

The Body Shop Body Butters really are fantastic products and come in a wide range of scents featured here are the Chocomania, Moringa and Olive.

Mixed Face CreamsDSC05491Simple Night cream is a brilliant inexpensive products that can slip easily into any skincare routine.
The Nivea Express Hydration Primer is a nice cream but in terms of primer it isnt brilliant, Id usually wear this under a long lasting foundation like Mac.
The Nivea light moisturising day cream is another inexpensive product thats great for no make up days around the house.
My Yes to tomatoes moisturiser is what I use most days as its so hydrating and really makes a difference to make up application. I love this product.

Mixed Lip BalmsDSC05512

Who doesn’t love a good lip balm? Its one of the items I’d make sure to take on a desert island.
Ive ordered these in the order that I prefer them.
The Malin + Goetz is so deeply nourishing its incredibly and whilst the Vaseline is still a great product it can be a little messy.

Shower Essentials
DSC05515These are all the bits and pieces I keep in the shower, so things like scrubs, face washes and exfoliators.

The Body Shop Vitamin Scrubs are brilliant depending on what your skins craving at that moment and I feel I can usually get a good result with either the Vitamin E or Vitamin C scrub whereas the Simple oil balancing scrub is better for when my face is behaving.

The scrubs are more of a luxury than a skincare necessity, although I feel they really do improve the overall quality of my skin I could probably live without them but they smell amazing and leave you feeling silky smooth.

Hope you guys enjoyed this skincare collection post, I know these are my favourite kinds of post to read so I was desperate to share it with you guys.

If you have a similar post you think I’ll like please leave me a link in the comments.

My Daily Date with Liz Earle

Hey Internet Friends,

Liz Earle, every beauty blogger talks about it, every skincare addict loves it. I have introduced two Liz Earle products into my daily routine and I can totally see what all the hypes about….

The two products Ive recently started using is the infamous Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer.
Absolutely love them both and the improvement in my skin over the two weeks Ive had them is phenomenal.

Such a simple and stress free process, you simply apply the product to a dry or make up covered face using the pump bottle making it super mess free. You then take the muslin cloth that comes with it and use warm water to remove the product, all your make up and leaving your face beautifully squeaky clean.

Its a brilliant process thats so simple you don’t mind doing it twice a day, it smells absolutely divine, it removes make up almost instantly and it leaves your skin feeling so clean and healthy its honestly a miracle product.

The instant boost skin tonic spritzer is the easiest toner Ive ever come across, no cotton pads needed!
You simply spray it directly onto your face and its instantly soothing and refreshing, I usually do this straight after using the cleanser and again before I get into bed because it makes me feel fantastic.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post,

Have you tried any of the Liz Earle products, what did you think?

Would you be interested in seeing my entire skincare collection?

Body Shop Haul

Hey Internet Friends,

Haul Time! I just cant help myself can I?!
Lets do this…

Ohhhhh pretty! Lets have a look at what I picked up…

Red Musk Scent
The scent for this is unlike no other, containing all spices and no flowers it really is the perfect warm fragrance with ingredients  Tobacco, Pepper and Cinnamon its beautifully different.

The presentation of this product is really beautiful with the dark red colours its really different than so many female fragrances. Its simple, elegant and perfect suits the warming notes of the scent.

Im delighted that I have this in my collection and cant wait to make it my signature winter scent.
Warm, spicy and cruelty free – what more could a girl want!

Frosted Cranberry Sugar Scrub
You guys know how much I love a good sugar scrub, this one smells absolutely divine using Cranberry Extracts from North America its beautiful in colour and I cant wait to try it!

Vitamin E Exfoliator
The Body Shop says this is “A light and creamy facial scrub to gently exfoliate without irritating the skin, leaving it feeling smooth, soft and refined.

I personally just liked the idea of this as its more cream based and should feel a lot more soothing than most exfoliators.

All in one Concealer in the shade 00DSC04834
This is a really full coverage concealer thats perfect for covering up dark circles and redness, I am constantly on the look out for good concealers and maybe, just maybe this will fulfil my needs!

Hope you guys enjoyed this tiny Haul,
